Tetris, created in 1985 by Alexey Pajitnov a Soviet software engineer, Tetris has been described by many people as the perfect puzzle game. There have been over 200 versions of the game, many with new mechanics that slowly got added in over time. There are several Tetris documentaries and programs including one currently on Apple TV and a new game called Tetris Forever which collects many versions of Tetris throughout its 40 year history and provides some interviews and behind the scenes information about the game.
