Writer and game designer Yuji Horii is best known as the creator of Dragon Quest and for writing Chrono Trigger. He is currently the CEO of Armor Project, a partner to Square Enix and co-owner of the Dragon Quest franchise. Yuji Horii also created The Portopia Serial Murder Case, one of the first visual novel games and later expanded it into a trilogy with The Hokkaido Serial Murder Case: The Okhotsk Disappearance and Karuizawa Yukai Annai.
In a 1987 interview Yuji Horii talks about balancing game difficulty and in a more recent interview in Italy about the Dragon Quest remakes.
