Metal Gear (NES – 1987)

Developed by Konami and created by Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear blends action and adventure games with stealth elements to tell a story about a special forces unit named FOXHOUND and a walking tank with nuclear capabilities called Metal Gear. Players control Solid Snake who must acquire his weapons in enemy territory and covertly make his way through Outer Heaven with only his allies on radio to help out.
