Super Mario Land 2 (GB – 1992)

Developed by Nintendo R&D1 with Gunpei Yokoi and Hiroji Kiyotake as leads, the sequel to the original Super Mario Land took everything from the original game and expanded on it. They also introduced a new evil character, Wario who would become so popular that he would feature in several future titles.
